ZUCHT (SIGH) - NEW WORK BY HET HARDE POTLOOD - EXHIBITION MUSEUM IJSSELSTEIN
Zucht (Sigh) - New installation by Het Harde Potlood in Museum IJsselstein

On Saturday June 27, group exhibition Druktemakers opens in Museum IJsselstein, focussing on play and discovery. For this exhibition, artists were invited to collaborate with children from the town of IJsselstein. Het Harde Potlood was assisted by Luna and Pleun. We also thank Kees Reedijk for his electrotechnical support.
For our installatie Zucht (Sigh), we made use of air and movement detection for the first time, in order to bring handmade rubbish to life. Zucht (Sigh) rises and collapses, bearing resemblance to a compost- as well as a trash heap. Rustling sounds are an important part of the work.
Other work in the show is made by Danny Foolen and Michiel van der Werf, Johannes Langkamp, Marlot Meyer and Roos van Haaften. With contributions by IJsselstein kids Anna, Anouar, Foss, Isabel, Julia, Kee, Luna, Olivia, Philou, Pleun, Sascha and Thomas.
